5Comfortable and practical  Nov 13, 2008 By Adventurer
Well made and the most comfortable of several saddles that I've tried. Remains comfortable even after long rides. Just like all saddles, adjustments are necessary to find the best fit to you and your bike. Take the time to adjust properly and you will be rewarded with enjoyable riding. The only possible negative is its somewhat higher weight, but this is reasonable considering larger size and use of 'comfort-enabling' materials add weight over smaller, less forgiving saddles. Look no further if you want a comfortable, quality saddle at a reasonable price.

5It's like sitting on a playmate's buttcheeks... (in a good way)  Jun 29, 2011 By Thatguy
Bike - 98 Specialized Rockhopper
Rider - 6'2 230lbs large frame

After reviewing several other saddle choices on Amazon and having no way of knowing what I wanted outside of the ability to sit down normally following long rides, I pulled the trigger and purchased this seat. Originally the previous owner on my bike had switched over to a Forte Classic saddle, which is excellent quality, however for me personally (spending much on my riding time on my butt) it wasn't comfortable enough. Even with cycling shorts I found myself uncomfortable around the hour mark. In addition I find cycling short terribly restrictive to my sperm production. I'm happy to say that so far it is the opposite with this seat. I just installed it today, and after a 45 min ride without cycling shorts I felt no soreness at all. The rear of the seat is wider which provides me with more support, but the overall looks are sleek and don't make it look like something for an old man with hemorrhoids. Also Amazon has a great price! My local shop was asking $45 and up for similar seats, I picked this up shipped for HALF that. Lets hope it holds up and stays this comfortable.

2Comfortable enough...but not durable  Dec 18, 2009 By Phineas McDunkledunkle
This saddle is comfortable, no question about that. But after less than a year of riding maybe 10 miles a week, the fabric is worn through. I re-covered it with duct tape...but at $30-40 a saddle should last much longer before reaching the duct-tape stage.
