5I like this saddle  Oct 02, 2010 By J. Gary "J.Gary"
Just bought an expensive Gary Fisher mountain bike and the saddle that came on it was a "racing saddle." After a few days of wearing the padded shorts and trying to endure the cool looking saddle that came on the bike, I gave up on getting used to it and started looking for a replacement. By changing saddles, it seems the biggest thing one will loose is the weight savings of using a minimalistic saddle. This WTB saddle weighs just a few ounces more than the one that came on the bike but is so much better. The padding is thicker, the seat frame itself is stronger and the size is just a little wider allowing you to rest on the back part of the seat after some crazy riding. I can ride for a long time now, be it cruising or rough riding. While I am still learning the art of trail riding, this seat will be a great help. It is shaped like a racing saddle and doesn't seem to rub or be in the way. It looks a little different from the picture and has rubber spring looking shocks under the back portion but I wouldn't call it a cruiser saddle because it is still somewhat sleek looking. After struggling with the junk that came on the bike, i don't care if some teen punk picks on my saddle, at least I can be reasonable comfortable and maybe still have children one day.

5Amazing saddle!  Mar 04, 2012 By John K. Wollam
I've owned this saddle for a long time now, I actually own 3 of them. I'm not a small guy, when I bought my first saddle I was 350 lbs and riding a mountain bike. This saddle holds up extremely well to us larger folks.
I've tried a few different saddles in my quest for comfort, I've spent upwards of $100 on a brooks saddle that was highly recommended, It spent about two weeks on my road bike and then was swapped out so I could go back to this one. If you're a plus sized rider (i.e. Clydesdale) I would strongly recommend you picking up this saddle... If you're not comfortable on your bike, you just don't have any desire to ride... This saddle has gotten me back on the bike time after time, it holds up very well. I still have my first one that I purchased and it's in good condition for being 3 years old with about 2,000 miles on it.
If I had to give any complaints... The only thing that bothered me was the front of the saddle can be a little wide if you put it on a road bike (I also have big thighs which contribute to that).

4Great for cruisers and hybrids  Aug 26, 2011 By tiger iris lady
I have a Comfort V on my mountain bike, and the model with titanium rails and less padding is great for the long hauls. But this seat is perfect for my hybrid cruiser. Much better than the wide glide the bike came with. I love not having pressure from the over padded crusier seat.

3not comfortable for me  Jul 22, 2011 By Alicia L Chandler
The padding was too thick for me. For short rides around town this would work well. However, the padding was too thick and caused chaffing on more extended rides. I think this was really more intended for cruiser type bikes, despite the sporty appearance.

I'm not sure if it was the groove or what, but I got almost a pinching sensation from the middle of the seat, despite the fact that the padding didn't seem to be pinching.
