Good Shoe Apr 26, 2009
By D. Land I wear a size 8.5 or 9 (depending on the shoe) and I ordered these in a 10. I have a wide foot so they feel a little tight for the first 10 minutes of class, but I think if I had gotten a 10.5 my heel would come out of the back of the shoe. I wear them for fitness classes that have lots of dance moves and they work well. They do slip when the instructor throws in push ups or lunges, things like that where you need good grip on the floor. Very good for making turns, spinning around, and dancing on the ball of your foot. They also give the foot a nice shape when you point your toe. Good arch support. Well made.

Great looking, great feeling Apr 12, 2009
By Mary Weiss I'm a casual dancer, and I never go on pointe, so I got these just for comfort and looks. They're winners on both. Be sure you like lots of arch support if you're a casual wearer! I take a women's 9.5-10 usually, and the 11's are just right on me. Vegan Recommended!
Those are Ok Jul 28, 2009

Hi, I rate this a 3 stars because after 3 weeks of use (3 Zumba classes a week), the left foot stitches start to open... maybe I had a bad experience, not sure. They are "canvas" shoes, so they are initially tight but after usage they stretch out and are very comfortable. I'm a size 8.5 and ordered 8.5 - if first felt tight but after using it for a couple of weeks it got very comfortable.
