The Helix is designed specially with female features in mind. Our exclusive Bee Stop mesh and Double In-Mould process allows us to put such large ventilation openings at the front without worrying about insects smacking into rider's scalps. This was something mountain bikers, in particular, seemed to run into, so we molded in Bee Stop. We've also been told that it helps keep hair from sticking out of the helmet. The Helix also features IAS 2 and a monomatic closure, features that ensure the widest range of adjustment and a precise fit that can be fine-tuned, one-handed, on the fly.

Great features for Commuters and Cold Weather Riders Dec 19, 2007
By Dean Stone I don't understand why UVEX helmets are so little known in the US. The ratchet closure around the chin and size adjustment in the back are great and can be adapted for any winter hat in a second. This is essential for MTB before coming back down or when you ride to work on a cold morning and it warms up during the day.
