Perfect for silencer end-caps! Aug 10, 2011

I know this is a bit specialized; but, if you're looking for a spanner tool that will work with multiple suppressors, this is the tool you need!
The suppressors we work with typically require pins that are about .12" (or 3mm) in diameter. The 2.2mm diameter pins on this tool fit perfectly since they are just a bit smaller. This also provides better leverage than most of the manufacturer tools that are available - and it doesn't require an extra wrench. (Many of the optional tools from silencer manufacturers also cost more than this little baby!)
The minimum distance between pins is just under 1/2" - easily small enough for even the smallest .22 can.
As I mentioned, if you need a tool that will remove the end-cap from one or more suppressors - look no further!

Invaluable for older bottom brackets May 07, 2010

This tool has not only done its job well, but will last me a lifetime due to its high quality. I like it mostly because it fits every size pin spanner that you can think of and is cheaper than buying the two other fixed size pin spanners from Park Tool.
If you work on older bottom brackets, you need this tool.

Purchased to adjust the chain tension on a eccentric BB bike. After finding some machine screws long enough to to replace the included pins worked like charm. Would be nice if included a assortment of pins but that is minor. Looks to be strong enough to handle whatever you could throw at and reasonable price.

Perfect tool for my motorcycle which has several double-pin fittings. Even though the pin size is actually smaller than I need, it works fine. Wishing I could buy larger replacement pins.

A necessary and well-made tool for adjusting an eccentric bottom bracket to set proper chain tension - works great; includes a protective plastic sleeve to protect the replaceable pins.
