A cheap tire that works great Jul 25, 2008
By T. Mahan Generic and cheap, ride great. I would recommend these for anyone looking for a cheap tire for an older 27" wheel.

Tires Pyramid Pro 27x1&1/4 Gum Walls Oct 27, 2007
By Huey G Tires are great (for the price)just make sure it is well seated (on the rim) before you fill them to full pressure. I would recommend filling them about 20 or 30 psi then carefully check the side walls for a good seal. These tires are a huge improvement over the "lower pressure" tires that came stock on this entry level road racer. A lot less drag. Definitely not a tire for off the pavement.

ok Jul 27, 2010
By Chief I have a 30 yr /o schwinn le tour 12 speed - so no 700c rims here - the old style 27 X 1 1/4 rims/tires are getting harder to find, no fear I found that Amazon has a good selection of "china" made brands and the price is right at 15 bucks I'm keeping the schwinn rolling. These tires were easy to mount and stay inflated at 90 psi.

Cheapest 27 X 1-1/4" 90 psi tire on Amazon Oct 24, 2009
By Scott With the Amazon free shipping deal, I got this for $15, which is about what you'll pay at Wal-Mart for a Bell tire, plus tax, if in stock. Cheaper tires of same size were lower pressure tires. If it doesn't say 90 psi, assume that it's lower pressure. I haven't installed this one, but I've used this brand before, so I feel safe in saying that it does what it's supposed to do. I put a lot of miles on a previous Pyramid tire.

Good Cheap Grip Jan 04, 2010
By D. Vang Not sure if im reviewing the same product to be honest. But these are pyramid brand, the tires I got were labeled with a Sunlite tag and labeled with Kenda on the side walls -shrugs-. Im going to assume they were all the same.
Good value tires for casual riding. Theyre rated for 90psi. I bought these to replace the tires off my old schwinn world traveler thats been sun damaged after leaving it outside for so long. The craftsmanship of these arent very great, but they should serve you well for a while.
