4great pedals, but bad fit to my cleats  Feb 15, 2012 By panther
The platforms are better for clipless-less riding than any other pedal i've tried of this sort. The little studs are very grippy on rubber-soled shoes. The pedals are also very light weight for what they are. The one-sided thing doesn't bother me at all.

Only complaint was they do not mesh well with the spd cleats i used on my old shimano M520 pedals. Why these different companies can't standardize the friggin SPD cleat, i will never understand. They are SORT OF compatible but not really. It's a pain in the butt to have two different pairs of shoes for different bikes. The spd cleats that are compatible with my m520's fit really snug in the sinz pedals, even with the springs loosened up all the way. So they function, but it's a lot of work to get them to un-clip. Real bumber.
