MUST HAVE BAG Jul 25, 2007
By J. Thigpen Great bag . . . looks good, simple "fixer" bracket is easy to install (bag goes on and off in a couple of seconds), easily expands to hold more of that important stuff (like snacks/tools/tubes,etc) and holds my Topeak Road Morph pump securly in the special, underseat loops.
Secure attachment, no sway and quality construction makes this a must have bag.
I bought a large and a medium so I could fit the bag to the ride.
NOTE: MY BAG IS STILL GOING STRONG IN 2010.

Great overall saddle pack - I use for road cycling Dec 12, 2008
By C. Halos This saddle pack is fantastic. It's perfect for me - a road cyclist who doesn't want the added weight/hassle of a bike rack, but doesn't want to have to carry items in my jersey pockets, either. There is PLENTY of room in this pack for most anything you'd need to carry. Here is a list of what I am currently storing in this pack:
*Louis Garneau helmet cover *2 spare road tubes *Performance Bike tube repair kit *Crank Bros Multi-17 tool *Pedro's tire levers *LG enV2 cell phone w/ silicon case *Canon Powershot SD1100 IS digital camera in Samsonite case *Thin wallet *2 Clif Bars
I don't even have the expansion zippers opened, so the pack is in its "compact" state. A few other thoughts:
*The attachment system works great. I currently have the pack fastened with the seatpost strap and the saddle rail quick release clip. The combination holds both securely in place, and my pack can be removed or attached in less than 10 seconds. Also, when I'm riding, I don't have to worry about the zipper coming unzipped, and the pack doesn't rattle or make annoying noises. *The reflectors on the pack are a nice touch to increase visibility *The rear strap is a nice touch and holds my Planet Bike Superflash taillight perfectly.
Conclusion: Buy this pack if you want a lot of storage space compared to comparable saddle packs, and you don't want to worry about the zippers rattling loose or the pack falling off your seat. After reviewing plenty of saddle packs in stores, I took a leap of faith and bought this one based off amazon.com reviews - I'm not at all disappointed!

Large and easy to attach Jun 02, 2007
By Michael Wagner Although a little more expensive than the bags at wally-world, this bag is made very well and was larger than I expected. The fixer also allows the bag to be removed very easily. I definitely feel that it was a good buy.

Nice bag, but flimsy plastic clip. Aug 29, 2007
By M. VanCamp Having several Topeak packs, I was expecting this to be of the same quality and was disappointed. The bag itself is great, but the fixer clip broke as I was removing the bag from the clip to install for the first time...very flimsy, in my opinion, as I wasn't using any undue force. Also, the bag is a bit large for my WSD bike. I plan to purchase a smaller Topeak pack with a velcro attachment instead.

Bad design on clip Jun 16, 2010
By M. Hopken I have owned two of these bags. The first bag broke 4 miles into it's first ride. Amazon warrentied. The second one broke 3 months afterwards. Both broke along the clip area of the top of the bag. Really bad design.
In the past, I have loved Topeak products, but not with this product. Seems the clip cannot withstand a load of a tube, plastic tire tools, a hex wrench and a CO2 cartridge.
Bought an Eleven81 bag with the clip to replace the product and have been very happy. The clip mounts easily, and is stout! Simple mounting with hex screw and has a metal backing where it attaches to the seat. Good quality bag as well. Where the Topeak would rub my legs from under the seat, the Eleven81 does not. The only difference I have found is that the Topeak has a net area on the fold our area of the zipper and the Eleven81 does not.
Buy the Eleven81. Don't buy the Topeak.
