Works great! Jan 09, 2007
By DJG I purchased these wide ride pedals to get the push - pull effect so that the muscles in my legs got a better overall workout. They work great for that. It can be a little difficult to get the right fit initially due to stiffness of material, but it softens up with time.

High quality exercise bike pedals Feb 24, 2008
By Brian R. Suratt

I bought these to replace the pedals on my stationary bike. The are really nice. The platform is roomy and the straps adjust to fit my size 13 feet without coming loose. They are a good buy if you are happy with your bike but need some replacement pedals.

One Problem Oct 09, 2008
By Luister If you only use your Airdyne with arms and legs, these are great pedals. You will get a good workout pushing and pulling.
If you want a workout with just arms, there is a problem. They do not have enough ballast built into the bottoms, and can spin around without feet in them. That ballast is supposed to keep the pedal upright, but the strap hits the floor, causing the bike to jerk and move.
I put a piece of two by four under the back feet to raise the bike enough to fix the problem. I wouldn't have to do that if they had put in more weight.

No More Slipping Jul 27, 2008
By Rosemary Mclain Before purchasing these pedals, my feet would slip off the pedals when I started getting up some speed. Now I can continue my workout without constantly starting and stopping.

Much Better Than Originals... Aug 17, 2008
By Thomas H. Williams

I bought a used Schwinn Airdyne Exercise bike and it came with the regular, bicycle type, pedals. My foot would slip off or I would have to constantly adjust my foot position while I was working out. These new pedals hold my shoes in place and I'm able to ride without slippage... They really make a difference... I love them!
