 OK. It does the job; but, would recommend a larger mirror-4"+ Sep 30, 2008

The mirror does the job, has decent quality and is not a bad selection. However, my recommendation is that you try and purchase a 4" or larger mirror for your bicycle. I think the extra size will be appreciated. Just imagine riding a bike and trying to get a specific reflected image from a small mirror near the handle bars while sitting in a vertical position on the bike. It's just not to easy to do this!
There is such a mirror here on Amazon costing reletively little $$$. I ordered that 4" mirror yesterday to replace the 3" mirror described here.

Item is fine; wrap a piece of painters tape around the handlebar and attach this over it to keep from scratching the metal. It's a good item for the price and Niagara ships quickly.

the actual glass is only 2.5 inches. I am constantly readjusting it to try and find a relevant view, but then it is of very limited area of the road. On a different bike I have a mirror which is actually three inches. It is amazing how much difference the extra half inch makes.

The product is good, materials are what I would expect for this price range and size, but I have found that having the mirror isn't much help. It's pretty small and with a bike your always turning and moving so the angle never seems to be right. It's a great product if you're able to install it "just so" and are okay with fiddling with it about every 10 seconds.

Arrived promptly and all in one piece. (Not broken) reflector was red that I expected and its small so does its job without getting in the way.
