Hand Pump better than Compressor Pump for Car Tires Jul 04, 2011
By James G. Mcdonald The pump works great. Formerly we had a small, oiless air compressor intended for inflating car tires.
Of course it broke and we wasted lots of time and effort hopelessly trying to repair it.
We bought this pump for less than what a new electrically-driven compressor for tires costs.
The amount of air it pumps per stroke is impressive and the physical effort is reasonable
for a guy who is nearing 70 years of age.
My son thought it would take forever to pump up his leaking car tire, but he was very surprised and pleased to find
that it was practically effortless and, a real plus, without that lousy hearing-damaging compressor noise.
Also, this pump can be safely used to inflate basketballs, soccer balls, footballs and so on.
