Comfy, light, not waterproof Jul 06, 2008

This seat is really comfortable, lightweignt, nice geometry for the sitting bones and vented area. It distributes weight well and is soft without being too foamy. Don't leave it out in the rain. The exterior is waterproof, but not the seams.

I was a little nervous when this seat arrived, as it looked to be about the same size as my previous seat.
But I have to say there must be something different because it works pretty well for me. Its flat where my old one was curved and my butt bones were sitting along side the edges of the seat with the new one they ride on the seat. I like the cut out middle, I adjusted it with a slight tilt and higher then my previous. Took it for a test with a friend on a bike trail, it was so good, that my friend was the one that wanted to turn around. I like it; I may still try out others ones to see if I can get perfect, but such an improvement over what I had I am happy with it. It's almost 6 ½ inches wide, and 9 long,

Received this sooner than expected, so that was a plus. The seat is VERY light weight and so far it's a very comfortable ride. My sit bones aren't as sore as they were with the old seat. I'm very pleased.

After reviewing everyones opinion on this seat, i bought it and tried it on for a 44 mile ride, i barely made it back because of the horrible pain i was in. My rear end, ladies you all know what i am talking about. I am thin and in shape, this seat is no better than the rest. Next time i am going to a real bike shop to really try one on before purchasing.

I put this seat on my mountain bike and its been very comfortable even though I lean forward quite a bit. I've been using this seat for over a year now and it's so comfortable I even use it on my comfort bike instead of the big squishy seat the bike came with. I can't comment on how waterproof it is because I always take the seat with me when I park my bike outside. That being said, it is light enough that I don't mind carrying it around campus.
