By feedback This 'handle' helps when working on a bottom bracket (BB). The particular BB attachment (for instance, Pedro's BB Socket - ISIS compatible) snaps into this device, and then there is another device (Pedro's Bicycle Bottom Bracket Holder) which locks these together by holding onto the axle via bolt attachment, so that it does not move and jump out of the bottom bracket assembly when loosening or tightening (thus, avoids stripping/damaging the BB splines). It saves a lot of hassle and works rather well, though the instructions are vague if not non-existent on how to do this correctly.
