I bought these pedals expecting it to follow the same quality as origin 8, a brand I've always had good experiences with, but no.

I liked the colors and the style of it, it's a well designed platform and strap pedal.

When I put it on my bike it worked fine for a few rides, but then I started to hear a creaking. I knew immediately it was coming from the pedals, I could feel the vibrations in my foot. I took the pedals off and tried some other ones to make sure and I was right.

If you buy these you run the risk of
A. poorly lubricated pedal bearings (which you can't fix)
B. creaky pedals

I like origin 8 parts and have a seat and now pedals. These work well and function good. White pedals look really good!! My shoes feel like the contact patch with pedals is much better than most other pedals because it has pins near the spindle area.

I got this for my fixie. They started to make a creaking sound with in 3 months. Can't be re-lubed so I wind up just throwing them out.

I bought my fixed gear bike with these already on it, and I suspect they were on a few bikes before it, because they were already beat to sh** (cosmetically speaking). And yet they still work beautifully. And for only 30 bucks? kinda hard to go wrong.
