5Finally enough patches!  Jun 01, 2010 By Helen Scott
I've always been frustrated by those little patch kits witht a few patches and some glue. Seems like I was always buying a new one before the glue ran out just to get the patches. Now, with these bulk patches I finally have a way to restock my kit and use up all those little glue tubes I've been collecting!

5I needed some stinking patches  Mar 19, 2009 By T. Harris
I got sick of those tiny patch kits with 5-6 patches in them. Now I'm prepared for the next 100 flats. I've used this style before and was satisfied. Now, I need a giant glue container.

5they work!  Jun 15, 2008 By golden_ "golden_"
These patches definitely do the job. I use them with regular old rubber cement and a little scratcher that I have from a previous patch kit. So far, the patches I've used stuck well and haven't leaked.

If you don't like patching, check out the Slime Tubes!

5The only patches you need.  Nov 14, 2011 By John Braun
I never seemed to use the patch variety kits' very big or very small patches. These are exactly the right size for 99% of bike tube punctures. They work just as well as the more expensive ones. Apply the patch to the tire with the clear backing ON and DON'T PULL IT OFF! It protects the patch and keeps it from rubbing off against the inner surface of the tire. Use real cold vulcanizing fluid, not rubber cement.

Also, these patches will dry out if left for a very long time, as will the vulcanizing fluid. Therefore, I store the patches plus the fluid in the freezer.

(edit: the patches will NOT dry out when they're actually on the tube, what dries out are the soft/volatile vulcanizing compounds that are consumed in the patching process. Once the patch is applied it lasts forever.)

5Cheap!  Oct 24, 2011 By G. Randall
These patches are so cheap! They work as well as the expensive patches but are SUPER CHEAP! All you need is some glue and you're set to go!
