Best Mirror Really! Jan 21, 2011
By gary green I bought one of these 4" large mirrors also. This mirror gives me the best rear view possible, plus i like the flat non-convex surface of the mirror. I feel safer using this mirror. I will buy more of them. I use a thin piece of plastic or rubber tire liner (like Tuffy Liner) under the clamp to increase the friction plus i replaced the nut which came with the mirror with a nylon insert lock nut (i think maybe 8mm size) available at any hardware store, because this nut does not come loose but you can still tighten or loosen it with a combination wrench. Yeah, this mirror is actually the perfect size for getting a clear view of the road behind you. I wished it was easier to adjust, but it can be adjusted with some effort. This type of mirror needs to be modified and improved because it is such a good and safer to use mirror. --gg

cute! May 17, 2011
By Alli Miller I bought this for my Electra cruiser so that I can see my kiddos in the trailer behind me. I love that it's a real mirror (not plastic). It looks great on my bike too. The only thing I wish It came with was some rubber to put in the bracket. I went to a bike shop and they gave me an old tube that I cut a sliver out of and put in the bracket so it won't loosen and slide around.

Mirror Apr 25, 2011
By Titanium Tim This is a real glass mirror and I would use no other. Still. you should know that the clamping mechanism is no good so you will have to fabricate your own. I am a recumbent trike rider and rely on this excellent mirror daily.

cute mirror but... Dec 28, 2010
By Carol This mirror looks very good on the cruiser bike I bought. One thing is it is not really adjustable once you get it on the bike however the problem is going to be in getting it to stay on the bike. I think the metal parts on the metal handlebars is a real problem because the mirror just ends up being sideways and then eventually hanging upside down. I wanted this one because it is a true mirror and matches my cruiser style bike perfectly - its a really cute mirror. I did read reviews before I bought this and remembered after this mirror wouldn't stay put that a reviewer said to get some old tubing from a bike tire and put that on the handlbar, attach the mirror and tighten it. I did go to my bike shop and they gave me some old tire tubing (they are the ones who originally put the mirror on) now I haven't tried to put my mirror back on since it was hanging upside down (it has been very cold and I haven't had much opportunity to go for a scenic ride) however, this friday I will be riding and I believe once I put the rubber between the handlbars and the mirror, I'm fairly confident this will work and the mirror will stay put. Seems to me this will work. let's hope so... the people who sell this should include something like a small piece of rubber so this mirror will stay put. As long as the mirror stays put, I will be very happy with it. It's a real mirror which is very nice.

Real glass mirror. Oct 03, 2010
By James E. Waggoner Sr. I wanted mirrors that weren't convex. I hate those, you can see cars behind you but you can't tell how far away they are. I also wanted real glass, the plastic ones scratch too easy. If the mounting system was just a little better I would have given these fine mirrors five stars. They do require a bit of tinkering and occasional re-tightening. No problem.
