A great option for folding bikes Aug 09, 2009
By Steve Spindler I bicycle everyday and have the MKS pedals on three folding bikes. I use both the standard pedal and the SPD version of the MKS pedals depending on what shoes I want to wear when riding. If I'm just commuting, I use the flat pedals. If I'm going out for a longer ride, I switch to the SPD. Switching pedals takes about 5 seconds. It's a really great design.
On my non-folding bikes, I have pedals that are a combination of SPD on one side and standard on the other that I got at Performance Bicycles. They are fine and less expensive, though I prefer the MKS pedals.

Clipless pdeal review Jan 08, 2009

These pedal's are great easy to remove and to swap between bikes - so that you can switch out easily with regular pedals without clips.

Clipless Pedal on brompton Jul 21, 2010

Great to have a clipless pedal for my foldable. I can now keep up with most riders. Before hand, I was always attempting to pull up to get more power and now this is possible. I like the storage bag and easy on/off. No problems.
Great service from the Supplier!!! Apr 10, 2012
By Eric in Oregon I purchased the MKS EZYmm-cube clipless MTN pedals with SPD style cleats because of the eaze of removing them from my bikes. I use them on my bike trainer as well as on my folding bike. When my order arrived the pedals appeared dissheveled, as though someone had returned them and then they were sent to me. I contacted the company that I purchased them from, Niagara Cyle Inc.,they were really helpful in addressing my concenrs and sent a new set of pedals without any hassle at all. I would definitely do business with them again.
As for the pedals, the only concern that I have/had is that the mounting screws were not long enough to mount the cleats with the shoes that I am using, (Shimanos 2012 all Mountain Bike shoe). The pedals are well constructed and polished...
