Magnetic Coach Board Review Oct 28, 2009
By Kimberly F. Henderson

This is the best designed coaching board I've ever seen. The negatives are that the coating over the board was rippled which prevented the magnets from sticking and the hangar provided is an unattached S hook. We remedied these situations by heating it with a blow dryer and smoothing it down and adding our own carbineer hook. Both worked like a charm. I'd get this board again no question.

Must have for coaches May 07, 2008

This board is a must have for any team. I've used it for a year now and it makes it very easy to manage a dugout. Put the board up in the dugout as you take the field and everybody know where they are playing and when they are batting. Eliminates the half dozen questions you get every time you go to play a game.
Absolutely awesome for field use. Way too expensive. Mar 21, 2011

I was struck by how small the board was when it arrived. So - ok - I adjusted to that. But the shipping fees bring it over $30 - so I was a little perturbed.
When you get it - go to home depot and buy one of those miniature mountain climbing clips to use to hang the board in your dugout. Also - take digipics of each of your kids - size their faces to the size of a quarter in some photoshop type app, print out the paper on your color printer - glue it to a magnetic sheet and cut their little faces out. Use the little quarter size magnets on the top of the board to manage their field positions.
Hind sight - I would buy again - however, the company needs to bring their shipping fees into line.
More Time for Coaching Jun 22, 2010
By Erin Powers This magnetic coaching board is a great investment, for the first time or experienced baseball/softball coach. I hooked a carabiner (acquired separately) through the binder clip at the top of the board and clip it to the fence of the dugout before every game. The players can then just look at the board to see the batting order and the starting positions. The magnetic name strips make it easy to make changes throughout the game, as well as helping with visualization when creating line-ups.
This board also has another image of a field on the back. I haven't used this feature, but it would be useful for communicating plays by drawing on the dry-erasable surface with the provided black marker. The board is about the size of legal sized paper; longer than your standard clipboard, but not so big and bulky that you wouldn't want to carry it everywhere. Overall, this board helps the baseball/softball coach spend less time creating and communicating line-ups and more time actually coaching.
Great Item May 23, 2010
By J. Hennessey This is the best thing for Little League line ups. Put up in the dugout and everyone knows their position in the field and place in the batting order. Great for last minute adjustments for no shows, injuries and regular shuffling. Highly recommend
