It's a seat post. There's not much else to say, really. It keeps my seat in place and keeps me on my bike.

By Crashman I bought this as a cheap replacement for an old mid-priced mountain bike, and was happily surprised when the part I received was the smooth-top Uno version, labeled "Dirt Research". That's a higher Kalloy model, and better fits the look of my classic MTB!
