I bought this basket and was very excited to use it. A bike expert installed it and I rode off with my purse in the basket. Twice on my way home the basket fell off my bike spilling the contents of my purse across busy NY streets. Then I had a bike store attach plastic lock ties to keep it in place. While it hasn't fallen off since it still can't hold more than 10lbs. I placed my bike lock in the basket and the basket dipped dragging against my top wheel and screwing up my fender. The company was nice enough to let me return it after I argued with them for 5 e-mails. Horribly designed basket, do not buy!

I am very pleased with this product. The basket and handle are sturdy and good-looking. I could fill the basket with bricks and it would hold up fine. The BRACKET is easy to install and the quick release works like a snap, but it is not sturdy. For carrying a quart of water, lunch, a magazine, and a light jacket, this is a great setup. I would NOT carry around a gallon of milk, especially on bumpy ground. Bumps stress the bracket greatly under a heavy load. The handle has a feature that holds it upright when desired- very nice.

I love my basket! It installed easily and looks great. The handle kind of locks in place, so it's not making noise bouncing when I ride. Although the bottom is not quite big enough for a paper grocery bag to sit flat, the basket still holds a lot of stuff. The bottom of the basket is wire mesh, so I expect it to hold up well.

Love this basket! Sturdy and looks great on my beach cruiser. Material should hold up better than real wicker. Fits great.

This is a beautiful basket. Well made, easy to put on and take off. The only problem is that it takes awhile to get used to because of the weight of it. It seems to change how you balance your bike.
