4Wald Cruiser  Jun 13, 2008 By B. Fennell
I wasn't actually able to use this on my bike, but this handlebar is a really neat shape. Very simple & sleek with a little bit of style.

The problem is that these cannot accomodate the long brake levers found on older schwinns, nor can they accomodate a gripshift + brake setup. The straight part where your hands would go is too short for these setups.

I still give it 4 stars cause they are really nice and I am going to have to find to make these work on one of my other bikes.

3Good inexpensive bars, but...  Jul 27, 2010 By R Boyd
I like the classic shape of these bars and the 4 inch rise means you won't have to extend your stem so high to have a good upright riding position. But it appears they are designed to go best with single speed and/or coaster brake bikes. The grip section is too short to fit a hand grip plus brake lever plus bar-mounted shifters (grip shift or thumb shift). I'm disappointed about this, and my project city bike will have to use either a stem shifter or maybe end shifters. The Kalloy Tourist bar is another comparably-priced bar that may be better for my setup (but doesn't have the rise).

5I love these classy vintage handlebars  Aug 14, 2009 By Marco D. Anderson "Marcotico"
A friend of mine in San Francisco turned me on to these when he replaced the drop bars on his vintage 80's Bianchi with these bars. Even though they have a an upright position on them, the sleek straight front bar and backward handlebars give them a fast look that makes them perfectly at home on a roadie. With vintage roadie bikes where the shifters are on the downtube the inability to put gear shifters on them doesn't cause any problem. The other thing I like about them is if you use a Wald Front basket the straight front end doesn't interfere with putting anything, (like say a dog!) in the basket. As opposed to mustache bars.

The other thing I've done is tilt them down a little (so the back of the handgrip is pointing downward a little rather than parallel with the ground). This way when you lean into them the angles matching my wrist position.

5Great bar  Nov 28, 2011 By Pops
We ended up buying 3 sets of these for my commuter, my daughter's bike, and our trailer bike. Good width and nice sweep. I may pick up a few more for future projects.

5Nice product  Sep 25, 2011 By Td
I really like this handle bar for it's asthetics, particularly the chrome finish. It's made in the US and the price is outstanding on Amazon. I would definitely reorder for the next bike.
