Decent handles May 23, 2012
By Tom These grips were still a bit long for my purposes (replacing the factory grips on a Huffy Rival with twist shifters taking up half the handlebar), but I'm not reflecting this in its score.
No, the real problem I had with these grips were the screws they come with. The screw head slots have barely any teeth/shape to them whatsoever, and so they thread almost immediately. I had to cram a rubber band in-between the screw head slot and the screwdriver to get the clamps to tighten enough. And as soon as these grips loosen, I'm going to have find and buy new screws for them.
