get what you pay for Jan 09, 2007
By T. Morgan I had been looking for fingerless gloves to wear while I type-- they keep the office I work at at very cold temperatures. These gloves seeemed perfect--because many fingerless gloves- don't have fingerless thumbs--but these gloves do. The cost was only 2.99 for a pair of black or navy gloves. I ordered the black pair. Well, the knit gloves began to fray on the first wearing- there are many stray strands at the fingers-- they snag easily. They are warm and I would love them if they did not snag and fray so easily. But I did only pay 2.99 for them so I guess it's a case of you get what you pay for.

Excellent price, but not the greatest quality Mar 08, 2007
By cheerioh The price, delivery was excellent, but the quality of the product is not the best. I shouldn't expect much for a $2 glove, right? It's great nonetheless. It snags on almost everything, but it definitely keeps me warm at work while I'm typing.

For the price, why not? Jul 13, 2010
By Brian Nixon Ok, so... I have been looking for a good pair of fingerless gloves for a while now, for several reasons. First, my boss keeps it extremely cold in my office, so I've started wearing gloves, but it's impossible to type and use a touch-pad with the gloves on. Second, I like to wear gloves when I drive, but the gloves slide around the steering wheel, which is dangerous.
I ordered the Fingerless Magic Glove (Black), and the shipping was very fast. When I opened the package, inside was a plastic bag with a label in Spanish... No clue what it said.
When I put the gloves on, I noticed that where the fingers were "cut off", the gloves were already starting to unravel. HOWEVER, there is a quick fix for this - Using a lighter, lightly burn the edges of the glove where the fingers were cut off and it will prevent the threads from unraveling (NOTE: Probably only a good idea for black gloves, where burn marks won't show).
I've had them for about 2 weeks now, and I wear them everyday. They are comfortable, warm, fashionable, and practical. 4 out of 5 stars for shipping speed, packaging, and overall quality.
Be gentle, they do snag quite easily, but for the price you can just order several pair!

Not just for Bob Cratchit! Dec 25, 2010
By Salserina I bought these gloves to keep my fingers and knuckles warm, primarily at work where I mostly do work on a computer or am writing with a pen. In winters past I have had chilblains; chilblains are red bumps on the knuckles and fingers which are unsightly at best and sometimes painful. They can happen during cold weather if one's circulation is not as good as it could be. These gloves are great! They provide some warmth for my knuckles but allow the dexterity to do my work and so far I have not had a recurrence of the chilblains. Although I bought the gloves primarily for function and not fashion, I've actually received a number of comments and compliments on them as well. Bonus! The gloves are comfortable and the fact that the "cut" edges are finished means they will not unravel. Also, since they are knit I can toss 'em in the wash when they get dirty. Bottom line, I would definitely recommend.

Exactly what I needed. Apr 05, 2010
By Kyle M. Heath Thin enough to play guitar with, thick enough to keep the wind from biting my hands. Frayed a little bit here and there, but still in good shape. Seems to get a little pilly, but no big deal. All around, for the price, very good deal.
