4Worked for me...  Jul 31, 2011 By Stuffbuff
Broke a spoke 20 miles into a 110 mile ride. The Fiberax spoke allowed me to complete the ride. It was a rear drive-side spoke and the threads didn't have enough travel to get the Kevlar spoke tight enough to true the wheel without loosening the two opposing spokes straddling the kevlar spoke. An improvement would be to provide a means to take up more slack, perhaps by using a barrel with right and left handed threads like a turnbuckle.

5Easy temporary fix for a broken spoke  Apr 21, 2011 By J Harp
Good things sometime come in small packages. This is one. The pkg is not much bigger than a thimble, but the contents will let you easily replace a busted spoke, retrue the wheel, and be on your way. Best to practice before need, as it is a bit fiddly.

5Great, small, light solution  Aug 06, 2010 By Brian Boonstra
This kit is small enough to fit in your patch kit, and of course is very light. The Kevlar string is actually very strong and can last for weeks.
