These are hands down, THE BEST toe clips I have ever owned. Most are usually nylon which is impossible to get into on a fixed gear bike, whereas most metal ones are such flimsy metal, they break within a couple weeks of riding. These clips are comfortable and SOLID. If you've been looking for a decent set, look no further.

This is my second pair of Origin 8 Toe Clips, have installed them on both of my bikes and think that they are just what I wanted. They are large so they retain enough of my foot to make it secure, but I am also able to get my foot out when necessary without any difficulties (a problem that I have had in the past with a stock set). I enjoy the ability to match the colors, black on this bike and chrome on my other. I use them in conjunction with the Origin 8 double straps, and enjoy the fact that my size 12 foot can dig in deep enough to put the ball of my foot on the center of the pedal. No toe ballet for me. I feel that the security that they provide gives me extra efficiency, being as that I don't change my rotation to keep my foot captured but rather spin for peak speed and power without any thoughts about what's happening with or on my pedals. I have enjoyed them and would highly recommend these as a quality product for other roadies to use.
