Best I've found. Jan 11, 2007
By P. L. McKenzie Any hardcore year round bike commuter will tell you you need a good mirror. I've gone through many. I like bar end mirrors best on my drop bars and while many appear beefier, this one has been much more durable. If the bike gets bumped or falls over, where heavy duty mirrors break off, this design just folds up and has lasted longer than any other I've had.

Inexpensive, light, and durable Jul 02, 2006
By Ian Korf The only downside of this mirror is that the lens is plastic. The reflection is therefore not quite as good as a glass mirror. But it's certainly good enough to see traffic behind you. I've tried a few mirrors, and this is my favorite. It's the lightest, cheapest, and most durable handlebar mirror.

wiggly Sep 07, 2007

This is a cute mirror and fairly easy to install, but you need the end of the handlebar open first. That may mean cutting a hole into the rubber grip. Also, the mirror is set on a swivel thing, so it swivels and is not as tight as I'd like. Kind of wiggly. Also it has alot of plastic and would be afraid of my bike falling over.

Fits Specialized Bars... Jun 17, 2011
By Sandy Gardener

... with minor modification- use a nail file or sandpaper to knock down two tiny plastic nibs. Then tap into end of bars with light blows. It will stop about 5/16" short of full insertion.
This is a great mirror for the price. Does NOT wobble if tightened correctly. It's made out of some really tough black plastic that takes trail abuse with no problems. Wish everything was made this simply and well.

So-so, hard to fit, and gets in the way Jul 23, 2011
By CSG I figured for $6.30 it was worth the risk. I had to do a lot of trimming and adjusting to get it to fit and still had to use a mallet to get it to seat in my riser bars. It would be better if the mirror went straight out from the bar rather than at aright angle as the mirror itself gets in the way of the heal of your hand while on the grip.
It works OK but I think spending a few dollars more makes sense. Not recommended.
