5great racks  Sep 11, 2009
Installation was easy and they work great. For some reason though, no vendors have a picture of the actual color of the item? The racks i received were all black.

5Great Product!!  Aug 27, 2009
I put this rack on my beach cruiser to tranport my bodyboard from my house to the beach which is a 25-30 bike ride from where i live. The only negative thing about the rack is that tightening the screws on the holding arms take quite a bit of effort to tighten to the point where they're very stable. With that setback during installation, the rack is very sturdy and adjustable to your liking.Great buy!

5Awesome  May 05, 2009
I've been using this rack system here on North Shore for almost six years. In those six years I've put many many many miles on my bicycles and on this rack system. I've actually got a rack on each bike that I own and none have failed.

Aside from transporting my surfboards up and down North Shore, I've used my CSR to transport wood and lumber, as well as it secures my heavy tripod for my camera quite well. Also if you set your boards in just right, you can fit two short boards in it without damaging anything. Trust me!

5Works great  Feb 03, 2009
I prefer them too the racks that you mount behind the bike, which tend to leave marks on your board from cinching it up to tight or grinding the tail off. I've had these for 2 months now and they have left no marks on my board and no tail grinding. :D

The one con is, no matter how tight I get my set post, the weight and wind from rack and board will turn my set/post. Easy enough to fix while stopped, but a PIA while riding. It doesn't happen enough to be a real pain.

5great rack  Dec 24, 2008
This rack is great. It fits my bike well and adjusts easily. I've carried everything from a 6'2" board to a 7'1" board on it with no problems. The board does bounce a bit when going over bumpy dirt paths so I usually just reach down and hold it with my hand for a short time so it doesn't bang. It is so nice to have my arm freed up from carrying my board!
