Alright light Aug 18, 2006
By Tim Mackay It is a big and bright light that turns on easily with a rubberized switch. In addition to solid on, there are two flashing patterns. The battery life is amazingly long when you stick with the flashing modes.
However, when you do have to change the battery, you'll be removing some screws to open the cover. If you ride on salty roads, you'll also discover that the hardware isn't stainless. The screws on mine became pretty rusty over one winter.

XCELLENT LIGHT....BUT..... Dec 06, 2006
By Felix The CAT XCELLENT LIGHT!!!!
Large lighting surface!-superior lens construction simmiler to a motorcycle or automotive lens!
Large durable mounting bracket with a universal fit.
Rubber gasketing and rubber encased switch provide supreme resistants to the elements.
Steady mode is the brightest tillight ever!!!
Flash mode visibility rivals bike lights costing three times as much!!!
Only small flaw to this supreme lamp is the rear cover (housing) seems to crack around some of the screw holes. Screws are plain steel instead of stainless steel.
Don't let this small defect deprive you from owning one of the best bicycle taillights ever made!

Excellent Light May 15, 2006
By Luis E. Giner This bicycle lights beats the other two I've had hands down. I love the button on top of the unit that allows me to just reach down and power it on. I sometimes forget to power it on before I leave and now I don't have to pull over. The brightness of the unit is also quite good, I love the three patterns although I do stick to the flashing pattern. Highly recommend this light.

Very Bright, Cool Design Aug 18, 2006
By Scott C. Jensen While I eventually went with the Mars 3.0 because it's a little bit brighter and has a bit wider viewing angle, I prefer the look of this taillight. It has side amber LEDs, which is often not mentioned in the description. The mount is a standard seat post mount with an up/down pivot (screw). With the belt clip removed it can mount to the standard reflector mount (one circular post and one bolt/screw). It is a very nice product.

Awesome and Easy Mar 15, 2006
By Joanna P. Duffney The Blackburn Mars 2.0 Flasher light is really cool. It was easy to install and when riding it is easy to reach the ON button while riding. This light is great if you want to optimize your safety while riding and the three flash modes makes it unique. My favorite flash mode is the third, which has random lights blinking. It is a fun and safe product for your bike. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
