Extremely good bearings. Feb 16, 2012
By Douglas Reed The bearings arrived in a reasonable amount of time, though a little longer than Amazon's usual, in appropriately protective packing. Initial inspection showed item to be in good condition, with no apparent damage or defects. Part count exceeded expectation at 151 pieces, seven more than the specified 144.
The packaging was good, a plastic ziplock baggie with the bearings in a sealed plastic pouch from the manufacturer inside. Both were clearly labeled with the product description and country of origin (glad to see "Taiwan" instead of "China").
Closer inspection confirmed the good condition and quality, with all bearings having clean, smooth, shiny surfaces with no pitting or corrosion and no visible blemishes. Measurement of 30+ bearings with a digital caliper (accurate to 0.0005") revealed them to be very consistent in size (all between 0.1555" and 0.1560") and within an acceptable 0.001" tolerance (5/32" = 0.15625").
Overall, I'm very pleased with these bearings. They are quality pieces at a very good price, which is even lower as of the writing of this review. And the seven extra bearings was a nice little bonus. Highly recommended.

Worked like a Champ Jul 07, 2011
By CountZer0 Not very easy to write a review on something so simple. All i can say is they were the correct size, very clean and uniform, and worked perfectly in my 1973 Raleigh headset.

Solid. Jun 09, 2011
By MussSyke I was happily able to buy a couple sizes of these (144 each) for as much as I could buy 25 of one size any place else after shipping. Quality seems just fine for general purpose applications and they're good to have around.
FYI, grease (if you need some) is one of the very few products that seems to be cheaper in stores (presumably because of shipping).
