These are exactly what the description indicates 144 count of 1/8" polished steel ball bearings. They were well packaged in a heat sealed packet and the packet is placed in a small zip-lock bag as well.
I used 1 ball bearing to replace the safety detent for a Mossberg 500 shotgun (as a single detent is nothing but a 1/8" ball bearing yet lists for the same as 144 of these) my only modification was rolling it in oxpho-blue to improve corrosion resistance.

By Jonathan Daniel I got these to replace some standard ball bearings that were between the rear hub and cassette of my chinese bicycle from walmart. They fit well and haven't fallen apart in the month or so i've had them in there. At least good enough for medium to light duty use.
