I adore these bags!! They are so beautiful and I love how secure they are on my bike!! I'd love it if they were a little easier to remove (for trips to the grocery store), but at least they aren't going to be falling off! Be aware that the colors of the bag are white and a silvery gray. The picture has a bit of a greenish tint to it, they are NOT green. I bought the Eleven81 Rattan Style Quick Release Rear Mounted Bike Basket - BASK3064 to go with the bags and it fits perfectly over them (see my picture)!! The bags are big enough to hold 2 gallons of milk, plus more groceries and they have small reflective areas on the front and back for extra safety. I highly recommend these!

Inspired by a recent trip to Amsterdam I purchased a "cruiser" type bike and outfitted it with these bags - they are beautiful, fit well and work perfectly - I've not had any issues with the foot hitting the bag as noted by other reviewers. I also get a lot of compliments on both bike and bags - but the bags create a lot of interest because they are not typical for this country. I use the setup for my daily commute to and from work and for running errands around town. Very pleased with my purchase. Product is well made, aesthetically pleasing and functional.

I absolutely love these bags! They are made very well, great design and perfect for packing everything you might want to take. It feels like they spent a lot of time thinking about how the product was going to be used. I am so happy with them!

Spacious, sturdy panniers Mar 22, 2011

I've had these panniers installed on my bike for well over two years now. Considering how much abuse I've put them through (over-stuffing them, weather, general wear and tear and filth from biking in Manhattan and Brooklyn), I consider them a great value. At first I was nervous about having white panniers in the city, but they clean quite easily, both in the washing machine and by hand. Most importantly, they hold quite an amazing amount of groceries and keep heavy bags off my shoulders while I bike.
Unfortunately the buckles have broken off of one side so I'll be looking to replace these this spring, but considering the price and how well they held up to almost 3 years of abuse, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair.
I too had some problems with the panniers being in the way of my pedals at first, but by simply moving the panniers further back on my rack and securing them via the provided velcro, I'm able to keep them clear of my feet.

I've had these for a year and I absolutely love them. They look a little green in the photo but the bags are basically all white and silver. They are sturdy and easy in install. The only downside is if you want to take the bags on and off constantly, it takes some time, so I for the most part leave them on. They can hold a lot, I've fit 2 very large bags of heavy groceries in them, and have packed my work clothes for a commute. My friends make fun of me for getting a white bag but I've gotten tons of compliments on them from other cyclists, and they only dirt I've gotten on them in bicycle grease. They reflect well for safety. They do sometimes hit the spokes as others have stated, but that has only happened to me when I'm just walking my bike into my condo, which seems strange.
