Works well if adjusted right Jun 05, 2010

Love it. Turn signal goes by different names such as Safety Lamp, Bike Turn Signal, or other names on Internet but made by same Chinese manufacturer. Cheaper elsewhere. Didn't come with instructions so had to look at picture on box to install. The rear turn signal is as wide as a regular bike seat. Turn signal was bright enough except in diect sunlight. Chirps while turn signal is on and a flashing light indicates signal is on. Horn or different sirens are surprisingly loud but you can reduce the sound by taping over the speaker. The two AA batteries fit in the back of the controller through a small sliding door that's not marked on the outside.
Install rear signal in JUST under of the bike seat so it's shaded a little and aim it at an upward angle so you can see it standing 6 feet behind the bike. Tire wrap the wires on the bike from the rear lamp to the controller on the handlebars. To take up extra wire slack, I wrapped the wire several times around the bike frame. Controller fits next to either side of the handlebar (depends on your gear shifter handlebar control) and you angle it so you can touch the buttons with your thumb. After a while you know where the buttons are located without looking and there's no need to lift your entire hand away from handlebar. People have reported dropping their bikes on the side and the rear lamp breaking but that action could damage many different things on a bike so don't drop the bike. Brake switch fits on the brake cable to squeeze the switch when the cable is pulled upwards while braking. You can find examples of the installs on youtube.

Fun idea, outdated technology Oct 28, 2010
By Alexander Boxerbaum I love the novelty and practicality of having a brake light that actually gets brighter during braking, and real turn signals. I do use it when riding around, but still use hand signals, since that's what cars are used to.
By the looks of the design, it was made at least fifteen years ago. Nothing has been mineaturized, and the interface is very bulky. The buttons are cheap and I don't know how long they'll last. I had to modify the mounting system to fit on my handlebars. Took about an hour to get working well. And as others have said, the horn is much more of a siren. I've had pedestrians leap from the path into ditches in order to avoid what they must percieve as an emergency vehicle. Amusing, but not really safe.

Perfect for our purpose Aug 03, 2010
By designer, musician, builder I like the plunger activated brake light switch. Horn is a bit funky but it does have one normal sounding setting, Super easy to set up. Bike World USA were very helpul rushing product to us for a rush job they also provided detailed info before we bought it super cool people. thanks

Smaller than it looks Feb 19, 2009
By Stonehenge Alex This unit was alot smaller than it looks. The unit was easy to install but the controls are bulky and did not mount next to my grip due to the shifters.I found it more dangerous to try and activate the turn signal, having to completely take my hand off the grip, than turning. Also the "horn" is more of a siren and as I found out illegal in alot of states to use. On the positive the brake light works great.
Bike light with turn signal and break lights Apr 13, 2012

I bought 2 of these for my girls bikes, one is a 10 speed and one is a 16" bike. The lights worked great on the 10 speed and the break light is a great idea. The turn signals are a little dim and flash rapidly with a slightly annoying beep associated with the turn signal, must be the reminder that you have your turn signal on. Putting this on the 16" bike was a little more difficult because of the bike doesn't have a rear caliper break for the break light. I ran the wire up to the front and it works but the wire is tight. Very pleased with the concept but I'm not too sure how this will handle the moisture or rain if we get stuck in the rain.
