Nice knee guards Mar 23, 2010
By dwnonluck Works as advertised. This is a comfortable knee guard that I use for x-country. Depending on the trail I may climb w/o them and put them on for the downhill but it really doesn't inhibit climbing. Guess the best thing about them is I forget they are on even though they feel somewhat heavy in the hand. I've 'tested' them when I've been a little over agressive on the downhill and wiped out when my tires slid out from under me. I came away w/o a scratch when normally I would have had the nice road rash on the side of my knee. Thanks Kyle whoever you are.

Perfect for Powerbockers Jan 31, 2012
By XDvandalDJ I actually use these for jumping stilts. They offer superb comfort and protect your knees from even a high fall. If you are also a powerbocker and use knee bars, get these if you want something as close as possible to calf cuffs.
These have saved me knees in a full on sprint fall. They've saved me when a faulty stilt broke after coming down from a running split kick, and they're uber comfortable.

Great knee guards! Jul 02, 2010
By Richard L. Dodson I actually use these knee guards for skateboarding. I skate street and flatland with these knee guards to protect my knees from falls and from the board popping up and hitting my knees and the top part of my shins. Unlike normal skateboard kneepads, these knee guards protect the sides of my knees, they're more comfortable than skateboard kneepads, and with their streamlined shape they look a lot less goofy. Their narrow design makes them look like knee braces instead of the big, puffy, goofy slider kneepads. I honestly don't know why companies don't make more streamlined guards like these for street skating. I've fallen on these knee guards a few times and they've really done their job well - no bruising or anything. The skateboard has hit the knee guards numerous times and the grip tape doesn't rip the fabric like it did with other MTB knee guards I've used in the past. But perhaps the best feature of these knee guards is that the extra large size fits my thighs and doesn't slide down all the time. The knee guards fit comfortably right away and after 3 months of daily use they continue to hold their shape. I WILL be buying these knee guards again if my current pair ever get worn out.

Excellent buy Feb 03, 2010
By Charles K. Stroud Although I haven't had a chance to really use thembecause of the recent cold weather conditions, they fit great. These knee guards are light & breathable and fit great. The velco straps help adjust to the right tightness... definitely recommend them.

Save your knees Mar 12, 2012

"me"
My husband took a serious fall while biking. Banging up his knees pretty bad. It took him a couple of weeks to recover and that is when he realized that "wearing knee pads are now a must". Great durable product. He has since using these banged his knees with no pain and bruising.
