The patches themselves are extremely tough, not soft like some that I have used before. Soft patches can easily extend when the tube is inflated, causing the whole patch to peel off or blowing a tiny hole through the patch.
The vulcanizing glue dries quickly and sticks as I expected.
I like this kit so much I got 5 just for the glue, although the patches are also fine. I have a 100 patch pack that needs glue to complement it. I know I know, I could choose to strictly buy glue alone to get the best possible deal on it like how I got 100 patches, but this kit is a good deal. Enjoy it.

Takes some time to do the job so may not be the best choice if you want a fast repair while on the road/trail. IMHO far superior to the "scabs" -- the vulcanizing patches form a more permanent bond with the tube. Compact size - fits easily into your tool kit.

We purchased these patches to cover up several huge expensive rafts we use at the lake. Other patches didn't work since some of the holes were as large as your little finger nail. These worked great!

Unfortunately, this patch kit works only once, due to the low-quality construction of the adhesive container. After you pop the seal and patch your tube for the first time, the tube simply will not re-seal. Your tube of rubber cement will be useless in a few days because it will be dry. Works great. Once.

Just what I needed to patch a car inner tube I was using for the pool.
Was ready to throw away and thought I would give this a try.
You put on the glue and let it dry and then put on the patch.Thats it!
I think the patch actually melts into the tube and becomes part of the rubber tube itself.At least thats what it looks like to me.
Bottom line is it did the job.
