Offset bicycle seat post Aug 30, 2009
By David W. Foskette This seat post turned out to be exactly as advertised. My problem with it however was not realizing it is meant for a bmx bike unless you have the legs of a giraffe.
It rasied the rider up about 4 inches as well as the set back which I should have noticed from the reinforcing bar. I needed it on a beach cruiser that I have motorized to set me back from the gas tank but I couldn't reach the ground with my feet after installing the offset post. The bike place took it back with out a problem & Amazon is to credit my card. For this they get a 5 star rating. The post is very well made. Just sorry it didn't work out on my taller bike & I will now have to fabricate something. I could have modified the post but by cutting the reinforcing bar out I couldn't send it back & if it bent down & hit the rear fender when I hit a bump at 30-35mph (with my weight) it would have been a real Kodak moment!

Relaxing Riding Sep 09, 2009
By The Modifier Makes riding a bike with too small a frame just right for a tall person. Strongly recommend.
tough post Nov 24, 2011
By Big Mac Was a bit concerned about weight on this post after reading other reviews. I took a grinder to this, and then cut some length off, so it would fit a old cruiser bike. Making a rat bike project with a friend, have decided, that it is plenty strong for a person a considerable weight, and will also lengthen the leg stroke for anyone that is too tall for the bike frame. But I would not be going over jumps and such with this post, for around town curb hopping its fine, but would not put this onto a bike that I planned to be aggressive with. Touch metal and looks great.
Extremely sub standard product from Taiwan Nov 05, 2011
By maurizio13 The seat post only lasted me 2 minutes after installation. I hit 2-3 bumps on the road and the base (where it connects to the bike) of the seat post was bend 1-2 inches. It's made from chrome and is susceptible to bending.
Worked perfect on my 24" BMX Aug 30, 2011
By Mr. B This is exactly what I needed. I am 6' 2" and was practically kneeing myself in the face on my 24" BMX bike. I put this on and it is much more comfortable now! Stickers came off nice n easy and shipping was fast as always with Amazon.
