This product was sent very promptly. I have ordered three other products from Bikeworld, and they are always prompt. This headlight/rear light/generator combination is fairly well constructed, compared to others that I have purchased. Plus, they included directions for installation. It is always a challenge trying to mount the headlight; I had to rig up my own bracket for the handlebars since I have a basket in front on my cruiser bike. One draw back is that the generator is quite noisy. Second, it is difficult to attach the generator onto thick forks, so I mounted in the back versus the front. Third, the headlight is weak. Finally, be sure both lights are grounded to the bike frame.

i have a bike basket and a handle bar light is sometimes hard to see. This headlight, mounted below basket, works great. EZ to install with a few simple tools.. but you do have to install it!! This is really old style retro stuff but i love it!! Recommended for those who need a light and have some(not much) mechanical ability. If you can do simple bike repairs...no prob.Vendor mailed very promptly.. excellent service.

I ordered two of them for me and my husband. One of them, it did not even turn on the light... Other one turned on but the brightness is really weak. And hard to keep the light on. Not consistent. At least one of them could turn on so I don't say one star but I'm not sure whether you want to get this...

I have a similar system which was given to me for free for the bulb inside. I needed this bulb for another 12 V system. This was at a light-bulb specialty store and it was the only bulb of this type they could find. Where in God's name can you buy 12 V/0.5 A miniature screw-cap bulbs??

This is one light that I have always like on a bicycle.It has the look of what you could get back in the 60's.And they are getting harder to find.They are not a real bright light like some of todays lights that are out here but for a good back up light I like to have it.I mounted mine on the front rack.You just never know when you may need it.I have this light on order but I have seen this at a bike shop but they wanted a little more than it is here.With this light mounted on a front rack you get your light right out in front down low.And if you have a led light on top of your handlebars you should be set to go.I like action stuff their pedals are the best I have ever found for touring with my bicycle.The older I get the more I like to go touring on a bicycle it slow and its fun and you never know who or what you may see on the way.Touring by way of bicycle is not for every one but if you like to travel cheap this is the way to go.
