very protective but not comfortable Feb 13, 2011
By rilo Fortunately, I've never had to test this out in an accident, so all I can speak about is ease of wear in comparison to other knee guards.
Pros: Of my knee guards, these definitely offer the most dissipation of force. My roommate and I took a hammer to all my guards and with the Sixsixone, I could barely feel any impact even with all our force.
Cons: They are uncomfortable after a few hours. The lack of an articulated joint really shows here. They are too long to fit inside my motorcycle boots, but if strapped over the boots, tend to slip. The fact that there's an elastic sleeve at the top means that putting them on and off is a hassle.
